| ARCHITECTURE | This year
members have been contributing by making presentations on
specific buildings. So far we have heard about Portcullis House and the
Swiss Re (Gherkin), two new buildings in London, and on the new
Selfridges building in Birmingham. They have been illustrated by photos, charts and videos. Other videos seen: 'Frederick the Great and San Souci', the winner of the 'Sterling Prize 2003', one on an avant garde house, and an intellectual study of 'Paris and Rome'. |
