With instructions on taking people pictures, choose a location where a number of people collect.

Locations examples:

    1. A cattle market
    2. Village fate
    3. Street market
    4. Garden open-day.
    5. Fun-Raising event (mentioning you are bringing a group could help)
    6. Carnival
It is surprising how such a 'shoot' brings some unexpected results. A usually quiet member of ours was happy to go up to complete strangers and had no trouble in getting permission to take their picture.
NB. Make sure permission is given in the case of children.
The Project exercised the following skills:
      1. Composition
      2. Use of long lens
      3. Catching an image quickly
      4. Getting permission if necessary
      5. Differential focusing
      6. Zooming in on parts of figures eg. Group of feet; gesticulating hands.
      7. Humour
      8. Surroundings telling a story.
      9. Presentation.
