Both these subjects could be given at different times or used in tandem.
They were not used until we had a few meetings on photographing indoors using available light and the use of flash on camera, if available.Sort of subjects chosen:
· Ornaments, Family heirlooms, Pictures. (could be used for insurance)
· Tool shed and tools
· Sewing or dressmaking area.
· Hobbies-collections, painting, reading.
· Garden ,Greenhouse.
· Fireside
· Model making
· A cosy corner
Students chose their own particular area and were asked to produce a set of pictures to demonstrate the subject and show a creative approach to working indoors.Project exercised the following skills:
- Creativity
- Use of techniques for indoor work
- Close-up and use of filters
- Lighting the subject
- Pitfalls of flash photography
- Tripods
- Composition
