Groups
To All Group Leaders with possible vacancies
We have 25 new members. I have sent them the list of vacancies in Sarum, Salisbury and Spire we compiled in September. As you will be aware, I don’t ask you to let me know of any changes that occur in your groups throughout the year, so my information may well be a bit out of date. You may well have a phone call asking if you have a vacancy. I hope you will be able to welcome some of our new members but if the vacancy no longer exists, please just explain.
It would be helpful to let me know your current membership after Christmas so that, if we have more new members, I can update the list.
Thank you all for your hard work and enthusiasm in keeping the groups going. Hope you have a very peaceful and relaxed Christmas break.

I expect we all now have our diaries for 2010 and that they are filling up amazingly quickly. Please make sure that you have sorted out dates for next year’s meetings with your Group Leaders and filled them in as a prior commitment. Regular attendance is important for groups to thrive.

VALENTINE’S DAY IN LONDON and GALA CONCERT at Royal Festival Hall with an exciting programme of music. Hopefully there will be time for a leisurely stroll along the Embankment with lunch in the Southbank Riverside Café before taking your seat for the concert at 3.00 pm. CRUISING IN 2010
A Baltic cruise on the Fred Olsen vessel BALMORAL leaving Dover on 20 June 2010 and returning 2 July (12 nights, 13 days). The Balmoral has 710 cabins and a crew of 500. The itinerary includes visits to Kiel (Germany), Talinn (Estonia), St Petersbourg (Russia), Helsinki (Finland), Stockholm (Sweden) and Copenhagen (Denmark).
