Our monthly coffee mornings with a speaker are a key part of our activities and our Speaker Secretary, Ena Baldock, has been doing sterling service for us ever since Sarum U3A was formed 15 years ago.
Ena now wishes to take a well-earned retirement and I would like to express our thanks to her for keeping us so well supplied with speakers. Now we need someone to take on this very important role.
If you would like to help, please contact Ena or me – because, without a speaker, our monthly meetings would be quite different. It would be quite possible to have more than one person in this role if that would help.

Annual subscriptions are due before 31 December and you will all be receiving a reminder shortly. We are maintaining the membership fee at £11 per person or £21 for two people at the same address. This has remained unchanged for some years and is excellent value.
Please remember to include a stamped addressed envelope when you return the slip so we can send you a receipt and your membership card. THIS IS IMPORTANT as you may need to show your membership card in future for some activities and groups.

Please – if you cannot attend a meeting of a group of which you are a member, the Group Leader would appreciate it if you could telephone him/her to make your apologies. It is a bit disappointing to set out your sitting room (and biscuits) for seven people and then have only three turning up.
Would everyone please remember to pay Group Leaders for their tea and biscuits. 50p is the suggested amount.
