Welcome to new members:

Rosalind Dumbell, Maureen Pardy, Vivian Spencer, Angela Wheeler, John Gilbert, Jennifer Gilbert, Susan Cull

From the Chairman:-

My two year term of office as Chairman will come to an end at the A.G.M. in March next year and it is time to start thinking of who will take over.  Any volunteers?

In an attempt to simplify renewal of the Annual Subscription by the end of the financial year on 31st January next, we are going to propose payment by standing order.

In November all members will receive a standing order form and information on how to proceed.  At the same time members will be issued with a subscription renewal form for payment direct by cheque.

We hope that with your co-operation these arrangements will make for a smoother transition than last year and that we shall have a clear idea of the actual membership by the end of February, the final date for payment of subscriptions.

In the case of groups with Waiting Lists, members who turn out to be missing a significant number of sessions could be invited to cede their places to those waiting. Please remember that, for insurance reasons, all those attending groups must be paid-up members of a U3A. Thank you for the cooperation of everyone concerned.
