New Members

There are no new members this month. The membership stands at 306 with 10 more on the waiting list. If anyone has changed their address recently, please inform the Membership Secretary before the end of September: Failure to do so would lead to misdirection of the U3A Magazine. Please ring Phyl (322570).

From the Chairman

I hope you have enjoyed the better weather since August began.  You will all be looking forward to starting the Autumn programme in September.  I look forward to seeing those of you who will be attending my chosen groups.  There are some spaces in Salisbury U3As groups so have a look at these and see if anything appeals to you.

If you are ringing to book an outing being run by John Ewington, do remember to tell him that you are from Sarum U3A, the outings are excellent and I do recommend them.

There are always a great number of notices on the notice board at the back of the hall, Clare displays them most carefully for you, please make a point of having a look if you are at the coffee morning.  It would take too much time to read them all out and you may miss something.

Enjoy the rest of the summer.

Josephine
