From the Chairman
This year sees the 25th Anniversary of the U3As in the UK. You will have seen that some U3As have commemorated it with quite elaborate happenings. We decided to celebrate with a cake and drink at our November monthly coffee morning. The cake is being made by one of our members.
The morning will start with coffee at 10.00am as usual, followed by Phyll Babb telling us about her
few days on the U3A Anniversary cruise from Falmouth and the national AGM that was held on arrival
back in port. An open session will be followed by refreshments.
Tickets for the News Year’s Party in January will be on sale at the November meeting, at a cost of £4. They are also available by post from Mrs Clare Edwards, 6 Merrifield Road, Ford, Salisbury SP4 5DF. Please send £4 plus stamped addressed envelope.
In your November Newsletter you will find membership renewal forms. They are due to be returned by the end of January but it would be a great help to Phyl Mullins if you could return them before Christmas.

Coffee Mornings

At this coffee morning, the Painting for Pleasure Group will offer a selection of framed paintings for sale at £10, £15 or £20. Ideal Christmas presents.
