GROUP CHOICES
By now all members of Sarum U3A should have received the September 2005-2006 programme and groups application form, due back by 22 June. If you have not received these, please check that you are paid up for 2005 and on the membership list with Phyl. Mullins on 322570, then contact the Groups Organiser on 335909. Return slips will be available at the July 20th Coffee Morning or with your Newsletter.

From the Editor of Salisbury U3A Jimmy Mogford:- Is anyone interested in making automata, those little toys, often made from wood where you turn a handle, or press a lever, which sets off a train of events that may be amusing, clever, or just daft? Jimmy would love to hear from you about starting up a group. 505067

Digital Imaging
(Some more information about this course available to Sarum members)

If you have a computer you can use it to manipulate your digital or film images and prepare them for printing.
Classes cover such methods as sending images by e-mail; repairing and copying old family pictures; producing greetings cards and making montages or albums of family occasions or holidays. These and any other specific queries you may have, can be covered.
We can advise on equipment you may wish to purchase for your own photographic needs, as well as recommending software.
We start the course for beginners by doing various exercises and usually these are covered over a six-month period all through the year. Often this is enough to get members started.
We have four courses running throughout the year and as they are limited to no more than eight they take place every four weeks. Meetings are held on Friday mornings between 10am and Noon, at 12 Chiselbury Grove, Harnham.
We will be opening a new course on Friday September 9
th for Sarum U3A members.
