Salisbury U3A meets at the Salvation Army Hall in Salt Lane at 10am on the first Wednesday of each month. The meeting opens with coffee, followed by news of activities at 10.30am and a talk by an invited speaker. Members are encouraged to view the notice board at the rear of the hall for current activities. An Outings Desk, also located at the rear of the hall, is open at 10am for the booking of coach day trips, visits to operas and plays, etc. The Outings Organiser publishes a monthly Outings News and Salisbury U3A's Newsletter is published three times a year. The Study Group programme for the coming year is available in June, and in August members are advised which groups they have been able to join. If there are vacancies, members can join later in the year. A copy of the current programme is kept in a U3A folder in Salisbury Reference LibrarySmall groups meet in the homes of tutors, and meetings of larger groups are held in various halls. Members are asked to make a contribution of 40p for each session.The annual subscription is currently £15.
