The life of a stuntwoman
Guild members sat open-mouthed on hearing of the adventures of
stunt performer Denise Edwards at the September meeting. Having
appeared in hundreds of BBC and ITV productions plus many feature
flms, Denise has been in the stunt business for twenty-odd years
and has done it all, including jumping from the 27th foor of a tower
block, being hit by a car and being set on fre.
She has remained relatively unscathed apart from a few cracked
ribs and broken fngers, proving that accidents can happen.
The Amblers’ Lunch in August raised £340 for the Guild’s current
charity and the next event to be held is a fsh supper and fun quiz.
