Three Thousand Years of Farming on Buxbury Hill

Nick Griffiths has been to have a look and has found lots of interesting things relating to farming and other human activities spanning the Bronze Age to the Present Day. Field Walking.

Meet at the Pembroke Arms, Fovant at 10.30 am. Share transport if possible.
You will need suitable footwear especially if it has been raining. The going is rough but not very far. A couple of short steep climbs that I [Margaret Mackenzie] can manage so anyone else should be OK.

Ann Boutell is considering starting a group that would meet weekly or fortnightly to learn about the History of Britain from 500 BC to 1500 AD under the guidance of Nick Griffiths. This would last about 8 to 10 sessions. Anyone interested please contact Ann on 01722 328 469
